The catch with the wavy hair is, many people don’t realize throughout their lives that their hair is wavy, or curly. You cannot treat your wavy hair like you do fine hair. I thought that might be over kill.Just like curly hair needs a suitable course of action to maintain its brilliance, wavy hair needs to be maintained according to its needs as well. Then when I got out of the shower, I continued to scrunch with a towel, and put in my usual finishing product. I just repeated this cupping and scrunching step about ten or twelve times until my hair stopped dripping profusely but was still making squishy sounds when I squeezed it. Some of the conditioner will drop out with the excess water. Then I took the water I caught and basically scrunched it into my hair full of conditioner. It's light weight and cheap so I don't feel bad about using so much.Īlright so now that my hair is full of conditioner, I leaned my head forward out of the shower stream, and cupped my hands to catch the water. I raked it all the way through with my fingers so that my hair was completely covered with conditioner. Then I put enough conditioner to cover my palm into my wet hair. I found the instructions confusing too, and was very skeptical at first but basically, I shampooed my hair normally (I personally use SheaMoisture) And rinsed it all out.
